Seminar #3
1st hour .

- Using Extract Tool with Refine Edges, Liquify, Vanishing Point and Pattern Maker Tools;
- Layer Styles and Blending Options;
- Selections, Color Selections and Transformations;
- Using Pen Tool for making selections;

- 10 minutes break

2nd hour
- Eyes, Nose, Eyebrows and Lips retouching/replacement/transformation;
- Creating extra eyelashes with Pen tool;
- Creating water ripples with Displacement Map Filter.

Photoshop for photographers - a weekly seminar (#2) for photographers wll be help on Friday, August 24th in Brooklyn, New York.

Natasha Katsaga will be hosting 2nd seminar at her home and Sasha Cooper will be teaching Photoshop techniques.

2 hours seminar will start at 7:30pm. Places are limited, so please call for availability and prices. You don't have to bring any equipment (camera, laptops).

Seminar #2. Color spaces (continues). Noise Reduction. Shadows/Highlights treatment. Skin retouching.

1st hour - theory.

- Introduction into CMYK and Lab color spaces;
- Color correction with curves in RGB, CMYK and Lab.
- Layer masks and blending options.
- Noise reduction.
- Shadows and Highlights. Use of false color profile.
- 10 minutes break

2nd hour - Human skin retouching.
- Skin colors by numbers and texture patterns;
- Skin contrast by Luminosity blending (RGB) and ab overlays (Lab). Ressurecting highlights;
- Wrinkles, pimples, pigments and other skin defects hiding/removal;
- Fixing skin with Patch/Healing Brush Tools;
- Dodge&Burn technique;
- Cloning with low opacity technique;
- Smoothing skin by using High-Pass filter;
- Smoothing skin with Median/Gaussian Blur;
- Adding artificial skin pores/noise with Add Noise/Emboss filters;
- Skin toning/airbrushing;
- Creating redness in cheeks, mascara and tattoos;
- Questions and Answers.
