As a seasoned IT professional I was very impressed by the quality and flexibility of the HalfLime site. I have used several other photo sharing sites in the past. In my opinion - Adobe sets standards for desktop photo software, HalfLime sets standards for online photo publishing and sharing. It also goes way beyond simple "sharing" concept - it creates community. Ah, almost forgot to mention the ultra fast speed of uploads and almost instant response time. As number of subscribers grows, I hope owners of this site can maintain the same performance level.

Cool site! Finally, someone took all the modern technologies and put them to use for pictures and video sharing. I did not take it seriously at the beginning, day after day it beats my expectations by far - I thought HL-album was the coolest thing out there, then communicator came around, then subscriptions and today HALF-LIME gone much furrier and introduced "Improve It" the on-line image adjustments. Upload is easy and friendly. Interface is cool and useful. For me, half-lime is simply unreplaceable tool for picture sharing with relatives and friends (I am yet to grow into video). Hope this helps, if you haven't decided yet to go HALF-LIME or not. HL is on top of all the others and it does its job to stay on top.

Frankly, I never thought of opening a photo album online - I always considered it a kind of "hard option", but after I had found out about Half-Lime, my opinion changed. Great Service! Lots of different options and tid-bits. Excellent resource for a person who needs to create presentations and slideshows on the web. That is great!
Though our home internet speed is not fast enough for uploading our LARGE video files, I can upload them one by one, or upload a bunch of short videos ZIPped(!) or compressed by RAR(!) or TAR(!)!!! I really hope that home internet will become fast in both ways very very soon!!!
I like this site and wish it to grow fast!!!
